Our Vision…

At Moturoa, in the spirit of partnership we nurture our students to be respectful, globally aware, curious learners who contribute to a peaceful world

How do we engage students?

Through our learning journeys we design experiences based on our kaupapa.  During these experiences students explore and make sense of learning to build knowledge across a range of curriculum areas.  We design for inclusion and implement experiences to promote thinking.

How do we enhance student learning?

During our learning experiences, students will be provided with the opportunity to explore curriculum areas.  Students will make connections to build understanding, reflect and construct knowledge through thinking.  Thinking processes will be centered on the student and will foster Partnership, Respect, Awareness, Curiosity and Peace.

How do we ensure that we have progress?

The kaupapa and our learning journeys are crucial to who we are as people of Moturoa, Ngāmotu, Taranaki, Aotearoa.  Our approach to progress and achievement in the NZC will honour these journeys.  Through our sampling processes, we will ensure that the mana of our students are preserved and enhanced.
